A few years ago Katherine Wheatley performed for the Newmarket Folk Society with Wendell Ferguson and some of us had a glimpse of her performing with Betty and the Bobs last season. We're bringing her back for a full evening along with Tannis Slimmon. Katherine is an amazing songwriter and guitarist. She'll have you alternating between toe-tapping, laughing, singing and perhaps wiping the odd tear from your eye. What a voice! Tannis is a long time performer in the Canadian Folk scene and has worked with Katherine in "The Pomelos", the all women group with awesome vocal harmonies that tours in southern Ontario from time to time.
